Terrible attitude of Agents on the phone

Called to schedule maintenance per my purchased plan. The two agents are extremely unpleasant and rude about scheduling. They can not get off the phone fast enough and put me on hold for the *** of it.

I paid for an extended warranty and I cannot for the life of me get in touch with them to have my NordicTrack serviced. I've been trying for weeks. They are awful and I hope they go out of business.

First, took forever for an appointment, then they never showed up!! Cant get a hold of the company, they won't return my calls, and your representative was absolutely unhelpful and condescending.

What good is my extended warranty if you won't fix my treadmill???

No Response - Scam!

I paid for an extended warranty for my treadmill. I have emailed, called, and submitted service requests to UTS.

No response!

This is a scam company. Just taking your money then not responding so they dont have to provide a service.

My name is Matt Fligg.I purchased a Golds Gym stationary Bike on October 2nd 2019. I bought a 4 year warranty from you expiring October 2nd 2023.

I've had to get a new panel before for my resistance.

I've had 4 hip replacements and its been my therapy for 35 years.

On March 5th I called and told them that my bike panel doesn't work, no time no resistance , no power. I've called 8 times and they keep telling me its coming. Its been over 2 months. They have been rude on the phone.

I need a complete new bike.

This is bad business and its crushed my therapy.

Horrible service

My TM broke (the frame) and UTS had me lubricate the belt and try to schedule a replacement of one of the shocks. Only after I tried to do the shock replacement myself when I found out the repair service would take another 6 weeks of more to get to me did I diagnosis the broken frame.

They have a company in Yakima WA that services for them in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana. One company that services the entire Pacific Northwest and then some. I sent multiple copies of the crack in the frame, my contact information, my TM receipt (most of the time I just copied and pasted from the previous emails where I had already given them the information). After another 2 months they told me a new unwarranted TM would be sent to me.

I arranged the delivery and spoke with the shipping dispatcher about the weight of the package and was reassured that the driver would be happy to help me get it to my door. "They do it all the time" The driver of course had different instructions and while pleasant would not deliver is anywhere but the curbside in the snow and melting snow. I submitted paperwork for the refund of money on my agreement (2 months ago) and am still waiting now for that to happen. Bottom line: 1.

They don't really have much in the way of providing labor. Most of the diagnosis is self diagnosis and the service company covers a territorial mass that is ridiculous (over 40000 square miles). 2. They don't provide timely solutions.

3. They are a subsidiary of the same company that makes the TM so if the company makes a bad TM (frame breaks or cracks), their escape clause (Limit of liability) leaves you with a replacement TM made by the company that messed up the first time and no warranty. (In some ways having no more warranty with them makes me very, very happy- I can call a company minutes away in the city I live in that sells and services exercise equipment) 4.

If you still decide to purchase the coverage be prepared for several months of headaches and 5. if you have problems make sure you have the needed tools to disassemble the equipment and figure out what is causing the problem yourself and even if the original sale included assembly know that the replacement TM is all you.

I had 1 year left on my machine which I purchased in 2011. I spoke to someone today, and I was told it will be 2-3 weeks before I receive a refund.

Terrible service

My husband purchased an extended warranty through UTS. We have had two problems with our machine.

The first time the situation was resolved but it took several weeks because parts had to be ordered two different times and then a service call had to be scheduled after the parts came in. The second time has been a nightmare. My husband called and UTS wanted us to diagnose the problem. A part was ordered.

Once the part was in, a service tech was scheduled to come out. Wrong part was ordered. Had to start over. Part came in December 23rd.

Technician has been scheduled twice. No show both times.

No call. No text.

This is not acceptable.

This process started several months ago and is still not fixed as of January 22, 2021.

Bad service Call

Tech came Saturday morning and did more damage than he did good. The walking bed was fully raised and he proceeded to lift it up in that condition.

The lift mechanism does no longer works.

If you will furnish the unit, I will install it myself. He also badly scuffed up the side of the walking belt, but I will use that until it needs to be replaced.
